Beauty Boudoir: Zoya Nail Polish Haul

I always say that “shopping is my retail therapy.”  I also love a good sale.  Zoya recently had a deal where you could get 3 polishes for the cost of shipping. Zoya nail polishes cost $8 each.  So I spent $10 for 3 nail polishes! Amazing!

I love all of the Zoya polishes online; I had such a hard time choosing. The three colors I chose are the following: Venus, Rory and Yummy. These are very beautiful spring like colors. I wanted to get spring colors because, like many, I am over the winter weather and ready for some bright colors on my nails to lift up my mood.

The color Venus is a beautiful purple color.
The color Rory is a beautiful pinky color. It has some shimmer in it.

The last color is Yummy. It’s a beautiful light blue color. I love this color so much and am ready to put it on my nails tonight.

Finally, I got a mini pamphlet called “The Color of Fashion.” It has all of the nail polish colors available online.

Zoya comes out with beautiful collections each season. Keep checking back on their site for amazing sales. You can also earn reward points that can help save you money on shipping.  They also offer color “spoons” which show you the nail polish as if it was painted on a nail. You can purchase them before buying a full size bottle.

I’m interested in purchasing the Color Lock System. Have you ever tried it? If so I would love feedback.  Enjoy!

** The colors look slightly different on my camera then in the bottle.** Do some research before making any final purchases.

Beauty Boudoir: EOS Lip Love

A woman can never have enough lip products. A few years ago, I discovered a wonderful lip product from Evolution of Smooth (EOS). These organic lip products are often conversation starters when in use. I have one on my desk at work and many come up and ask me what it is! Cats and babies love to use these as well (as toys).

I started off with one EOS lip balm and now have so many. There are so many flavors to choose from: Summer Fruit (my first purchase), Honeysuckle Honeydew, Sweet Mint, Strawberry Sorbet and Medicated Tangerine. The only two I have not purchased are Lemon Drop (not a fan of lemon) and Pomegranate Raspberry (still on the hunt). There are also limited edition lip balms available as well.  They include Passion Fruit and a set themed around Alice in Wonderland: Blueberry Potion, Sweet Vanilla Nonsense and Watermelon Wonderland.

I used to store these all around my house, one in my purse, one on my desk, one in my night stand, but then I saw others online put them in a glass jar. I decided to purchase an inexpensive dollar store glass jar to hold my EOS lip balms and its functional and decorative. They sit on my vanity and I can quickly pick and choose a lip balm of my preference.  I have misplaced some of my balms, but I hope to find them soon! I often use one as a base before I apply my lip product of the day. The great feature of the product is the shape. It makes it easy to find in a purse or dark area.

These EOS lip balms are sometimes hard to find. I often find them at Target, on Amazon, and in some drugstores. They can get quite expensive compared to other lip products, especially with the increased popularity of the products over the past few years. You can buy them in sets on Amazon. They also offer lotions in cute containers. I love my EOS lip products and cannot wait to add more to my collection!

Have you found any Holy Grail lip products?  Are there any other EOS flavors I missed? Check back Thursday for a new post.  Thanks for reading.

Lynn's Lively Life

Hello! I am here to share more about my loves in my life.

I love beauty and nail products, reading and interior design. I have many blog posts planned from pictures of my makeup and nail polish collection, to interior design tips (such as decorating for a couple). I also plan on posting reviews on books I finish reading.

I am always looking for feedback and requests! Check back on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for new blog posts.

PS. Here is a picture of my little cat Sophie.
